Below are some key points we advise.
- Fish tanks need filters to keep the environment healthy for the inhabitants of the aquarium.
- Aquarium system must be established before introducing inhabitants. Livestock should be introduced slowley with regular maintenance (water tests/tank maintenance)
- Research live stock and check compatability with other fish in your aquarium prior to introduction and be aware of any specific requirements e.g. feeding, water parameters etc.
- Regular partial water changes are advised, never clean filter with tap water, always use water taken from the system during the change.
